Sewing stretch fabrics
Overlockers are used for constructing garments in stretch fabrics (or for neatening seams in woven fabrics)
The sewing workshops at UWE house nine industrial Overlock Machines which are designed to edge and cut off simultaneously. We have one Fine Edge Finisher, four Coverseam Machines which hem a folded edge or stitch on a stretch binding, but don't cut. We also have two Chain Stitchers for sewing stretch fabrics without neatening the edge.
